If you have never seen a full band performing in a hardware shop before then quite frankly you have not lived. Chances are if you have seen such a thing then you were probably buying something (maybe a certain amount of candles for example) in West Bridgford a month before Christmas. Due to the way I release these films the set from The Idolins was released today and was in my opinion well worth the wait. This is also where we filmed a tribute to both Python and The Two Ronnies, I really must get round to getting the out-takes on the Facebook page as Gerry Trimble just could not do it without laughing. I'm glad that I managed to get this out on schedule because I have fallen behind on so much due to Tesco Broadband's shite service over the holiday. There's two more episodes of The Random Saturday Sessions left to broadcast from the day in West Bridgford and then the two from Hockley just before Christmas. I am trying to plan one for the 30th of this month but I'm not sure how successful it will be. Once the steam runs out it will stop being fun and this is something I am keen to carry on with. Hopefully I can keep it fresh by bringing in new faces every time while keeping the core regulars such as Gerry and Cibele who will not only provide continuity but be able to show the new acts how such a daft idea makes for a great day out and a good social for musicians. Keep watching the video as an old lady walks right into shot and says sorry, this is better that the man who didn't want the fact that we were filming in a laundrette to get in the way of his washing

My Internet problems did prevent me from releasing the audio book version of Bowie Day yesterday as planned, so I got it out today to a slight fanfare but I didn't really want to spend too long sat at the computer. Follow the link and have a listen, it is my first work of fiction so not something I am familiar with. Maybe you would like to ignore the fact that it is a free download and instead opt to pay something safe in the knowledge that all money goes in the fund to help create new entertainments such as podcasts, comedy sketches, short films and documentaries that I will make available for free in return for your generosity.
