Sherwood Radio

I presented 39 shows for the Internet radio station Sherwood Radio. Although a local radio station for Nottinghamshire, my show was international in mentality and had listeners from all over the world. My show played a quite brilliant mix of unsigned bands, alternative classics, rarities, comedy clips, live sessions and the occasional children's story.

There were regular features that I introduced and dropped as the mood took me, the most memorable being Winnie The Pooh read by Alan Bennett, and the Mash-Up Montage. The theme tune opener was finally settled on The Liberty Belle March, which was famous as the theme tune to Monty Python's Flying Circus until I adopted it. Before that I used 'The Peter Gunn Theme' as performed by The Riffs, and the television themes to Match Of The Day, The A-Team and The Benny Hill Show. The closing theme was always Grange Hill.
