Tuborg is a lager available in cans that I have only seen on sale at Rock City. It is that time of year of course when lager can be drunk by heterosexual men, and as Rock City only use plastic ‘glasses’ I couldn’t drink Guinness or ale anyway. I had four cans of it last night and was awake at six o’clock this morning as bright as a button. I’ve never regarded lager as ‘proper’ drinking so maybe there is something in that. Although I’m not usually a morning person I have always liked early mornings. It was nice and cool on the park as the sun hadn’t quite hit full power, so Jack was able to run around without getting too hot. There have been times when he just wants to trot around and roll in the grass. I like him to have a good run around to exercise his joints and running after his ball is the best way, so we were both nicely set up for the day by the time we had finished.

I discovered by accident that I can record CDs on my laptop which is a lot more convenient than lugging my gear to my dad’s house. As a bonus I can make audio CDs rather than just computer CDs, which is comforting as it meant that I could try them out on one of our CD players before deleting the original file from the USB stick. I wouldn’t dare delete without checking that the transfer has actually taken place, I don’t care what my computer tells me has happened, I don’t believe a word until I have my own proof.
