It's a tradition for the news programmes and the newspapers to get into the spirit of All Fool's Day, in fact they are the only people who do it. I don't know a single person who pulls a prank on another person, although that might be something to do with the fact that I don't get up until noon, in which case you can't do it. What annoyed me is that I knew I wouldn't have time to read the Sunday papers, so I didn't bother buying them. This meant that I missed my annual attempt to spot the April Foolery from the press. We were doing a roast lunch for my dad and Nana, and watching a film afterwards so it would have been late on by the time I managed to sit and wade through the Sunday papers.

But it wasn't Sunday yesterday! Because of all the confusion caused by having a four day weekend, I inadvertently April Fooled myself by thinking it was Sunday, and not buying the Sunday papers.

I spotted a few things online, such as Google Smell. There was also an announcement from Twitter saying that they were going to charge for vowel use. I noticed that all my stats on Blogger had gone back to zero, but I don't know if that was a glitch or a prank.

We had a nice family day yesterday, roast dinner, few drinks and a film. No wonder I thought it was Sunday. Later on I did some catching up with television I'd missed for whatever reason, and watched Life's Too Short. It was a work of genius, as expected. If Ricky Gervais, who has never put a foot wrong, can get away with using Comic Relief to advertise his YouTube channel by bringing back David Brent, and nobody complain even when he puts 'Equality Street' as a free download when it would have raised a fortune for charity, then he should do something with this. I would love to see a live cabaret with Les Dennis, Keith Chegwin, and Shaun Williamson, and I'm sure it would go down a storm. Maybe that's the next move?

With very little to report on from the Bank Holiday weekend, I present another long-lost list from my old Twitter account.
