Can you see me? It's like a Nottingham version of Where's Wally?
It seems like ages ago that this photoshoot took place, and I'm sure everyone involved has been counting the days until today's publication. Annoyingly, I couldn't get into town to pick up my copy. Fortunately, my girlfriend picked up two copies, my dad texted me to say I was on the cover, and Jason Loftus, (presenter of Nottingham L.A.C.E., Saturdays 5-7pm only on Trent Sound) texted me to say he had a copy for me at the studio. So now I have plenty of issues of it, I might frame one for my office wall.
On the cover I seem to have had my facial features airbrushed out, but on a collage in the magazine I appear twice. Funny thing is, it's the same picture.
From the position I was in at the shoot, I was worried that my face might be obscured by the LeftLion banner. Luckily they didn't fill the whole cover with faces.
There wasn't the buzz on Twitter and Facebook today for the publication that there was on the day of the shoot. Strange.
I think they should have done an individual cover each, like the Radio Times or Q sometimes do. You could collect all 400-odd covers to build a collection of Nottingham's musical movers and shakers.
