Yesterday was another up late affair, with me dosing up on medicines to beat the shit out of this cold that doesn't seem to want to go. I did a quick bit of radio admin, and then we went to my dad's for lunch. With not having bands in this week, I was a bit more relaxed about the show. It was disappointing that there wasn't a live session booked in on the third show of the new run, but we had a great time anyway. Gary Barwell (from Prefontaine) joined me as guest co-host, which was a massive success. He had been nervous about doing this, but it turned out to be a brilliant show and we worked well together. I'd love it if he could do it every week. Last week I did the show on my own, but with having two bands in, it didn't really matter as I could make good use of the time. If I'm doing the show alone with no band on, then I don't do a good show.

I haven't had any feedback, good or bad, regarding the new time slot for the show. From my point of view, it is better, as I can in theory get all the admin done when I get home and still have something to eat and spend time with Mandi at a reasonable time. The time seems to fly by, even without a band on, how on earth did I manage to get two bands in for the first two shows?
