Our theatrical experience wasn't quite what we had hoped for, so we stole away at the interval and went to the pub. I was worried that we might be locked in, but there's one good thing about the smoking ban and that is that you can get outside a theatre and escape.
We were home from the pub before ten o'clock, and Mandi set about putting up the Christmas decorations in the bedrooms while I disappeared into my office to record The Sunday Alternative.
We waited until after midnight this morning, to watch A Christmas Carol, the Disney version starring Jim Carrey. As we waited until after midnight, it counted as our RDA for today, (Recommended Dickens Allowance, I have to credit my girlfriend Mandi for that one). It was very good indeed, (I'm writing a guide book so am not going to waste material).
