Last night saw the premier in Nottingham of the new Batman film The Dark Knight Rises. The residents of Nottingham who were extras in the film all attended, as did several members of the press. I can only assume that my invite got lost in the post, as surely somebody thought to invite me as I play a role in the story of Batman in Nottingham? It was after all me who got the whole world talking about it before it was even made. It is also because of the legendary Adam West hoax that I expected the phone to ring a lot today. Nothing! I made my availability known to the papers, local radio, and television, for interviews all about the story, but nothing.
