Chances are that you read about the sad death of Gregg Jevin yesterday. If you follow any of this county's top comedians on Twitter then you can't have missed the tributes. The brilliant thing about it, which if you'd been there from the beginning you of course already knew, is that Gregg Jevin was a fictional character. Michael Legge tweeted 'I can't believe Gregg Jevin, a man I just made up, has died', and tributes started flooding in. As internet hoaxes, (although can it actually be called a hoax as we knew from the start that it was made up?), go, this was a masterpiece. It certainly pisses all over my Adam West story. Rather than rake over an old story, Google 'Gregg Jevin' and there are pages and pages for you to peruse.

I found it funny how a death hoax captured the imagination of the country so soon, especially after we covered this subject on the show a couple of weeks ago. We killed off our friend Chris Underwood for no reason, and he seemed to take it in good spirits. Maybe death hoaxes are the way forward! I'm planning on announcing the deaths of listeners in future shows.
