Last night, there was a hashtag bouncing around Twitter based on Nottingham films. Not actual Nottingham films, but pun titles. I waded in with The Hyson Green Mile, Arsenic And Old Lace Market, Alvin Stardust And The Chipmunks, and my favourite, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix Park. There were a few more but you can find them.

This morning I woke up with a new idea, Nottingham songs.

As with the films, these will mean nothing to anyone who doesn't know Nottingham:

Gregory Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
Flying Horse Walk The Line
It's Now Or Netherfield
The Hyson Green Green Grass Of Home
The Lady Is A Tram
Chantilly Lace Market
Peggy Su Pollard
The Leftlion Sleeps Tonight
Raleigh The Pink
Ayup Where We Belong
Trent Bridge Over Troubled Water
Sitting On The Dock Of The Ladybay
When The Going Gets Clough
Hip To Be Market Square
There Must Be An Angel Row
That's The Maid Marion Way I Like It
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Some Enchanted Evening Post
Jilted John Players
Paradise City Hospital
Smithy Row Row Row Your Boat
Nutbush Rock City Limits
Drive My Carlton
I Know Him So Bulwell
Phoenix Parklife

My absolute favourite, which provides a double pun, is 'Never Gonna Give You Ayup' by Rick ASPLEY.

That was all before I got out of bed. On a Sunday!
